the marine mammal center posted a video of one of the sea lions being released at point reyes after receivingment, the center says the acid poisoning happens when the sea lions eat fish that have the naturally occurring neurotoxin. lions that gets sick appeared disoriented and some even suffer seizures. the center rescue 25 sea lions from san luis obispo county brought them to sausalito and are releasing them as they get better. congressman and senator from maine want to withhold federal money from the monterey bay aquarium because the aquarium is recommended that people avoid buying maine lobster aquarium runs seafood watch, a conservation group that advises people in which fish to buy or avoid based on sustainability. last month, the group put lobster from the u. s and canada on its red list of seafood to avoid saying wales were being entangled in lobster fishing gear. congressman jared golden and senator angus king say they're going to present a bill to withhold any future federal funding from the aquarium and its programs because of the impact that red list designation has had on maine's
