richard, but do we have any idea what capacity -- whether it's a measure to capacity or usage, but gray water or black water in the city? >> chief of san francisco puc. actually, contrary to some of the comments, we are in the middle of construction on the west side to deliver recycled water to golden gate park, the golf course and parts of the presidio. that is the largest area of nonpotable water usage that exists. san francisco, again, we showed the low per capita usage, that's because there's very little areas to irrigate, which is what lots of other communities have developed recycled water for. so the amount of water that can be recycled in san francisco is quite limited. we've studied that many times. the one avenue for which we could maximize recycled water is one of those projects that we looked at there, which is using purified water in san francisco, in effect delivering it directly for drinking water purposes, something that is not currently allowed under state regulations, but we are going to be looking at that as potentially part of our future. i think all of california is going to be lo

black sharecroppers, tenant farmers. fall, 1891, before cotton picking season, the white president of the alliance, a man from texas named richard humphrey, proposed a regional strike of cotton pickers demanding wage rise. they were still striking for one dollar per day. this never really gets off the ground. lee county, arkansas, not far from phillips county, it kind of goes back, the groundwork that had been done in this part of arkansas, the freedom bureau had been active decades ago, the knights of labor were involved in lee county, mid-1880's. i have never been able to get to the bottom of it. knights of labor were still there when the strike happened. it is one of the few places where it comes off. an organizer from memphis named ben harrison comes in, organizing black cotton pickers and the rest of the south, the strike is ignored. -- in leethought county, the strike actually happened. the short version. within two weeks, it evolves into a bloodbath. first the strikers start rating plantations, violence breaks out, the strikers kill a white plantation manager. at that point, the phillips county sheriff forms a posse and t
