richard engel, thanks so much for joining us. wilt president's strategy work? joining us is retired u.s. army major general paul eaton who served in iraq, somalia and bosnia. what's your assessment of the president's speech and most importantly, his strategy? >> well, the president was correct to make diplomacy his main effort. i'm not sure how much preparatory work went into it, given what we've heard from turkey today. but it's an absolutely appropriate strategy to get countries that consider isis to be a vital national interest, to assist in the containment, the disruption and the destruction of isis. so he, the president was very good at laying out the diplomatic main effort. he touched on the use of military enablers from the united states, air power, intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, logistics. but what we did not hear was his ideological campaign, his anti-isis ideology campaign. and we didn't hear much appropriate for this station, about how to isolate isis from a cash, from a financial perspective. which is critical to, to going after this organization. >> how difficult do you think it will be for
