to remember the original one i am but you know frank church held these hearings about the abuses of the intelligence agencies at the direction of richard nixon that was you know arguably a crime the president doing that but basically some really nasty stuff was going and we passed legislation to restrain though is the time to do that again i think it's definitely time for us to re-examine our current policies be examine the patriot at and how we are dealing with the war on terror. you know there needs to be better restrictions within the act you know in terms of just searching in viewing people's items without having any tangible linkage or tangible proof that this individual is linked to another individual who has terrorist ties i think that there needs to be stronger restrictions in place before you start engaging in this type of snooping through people's park what they feel their personal thoughts and ideas that they're sharing with their private friends and family members i mean this is just big brother i mean it is have we reached one of those rare moments
