. >> reporter: we just finished talking to commissioner richard ross and he said police and investigatorsase. they don't have much on the suspect at all. we do know that one man is dead. a teenager was shot six times, and amazingly he is alive and in stable condition. around 11:30 wednesday night police responded to reports of gunshots along the 2500 block of north dover street in the city's strawberry mansion section. officers would arrive on scene to find three victims with gunshot wounds. they found a 24-year-old who was shot in the head. he was unresponsive and was pronounced dead at temple hospital 30 minutes later. another 24-year-old who was shot in the leg, he is now in stable condition, and a 17-year-old who was shot in both legs, both arms, the hip and torso, he is in stable condition as well. police say the shooter may have used two semiautomatic guns. >> so due to the fact that that 17-year-old was hit so many times throughout his body, it appears that he was more than likely an intended target. >> reporter: and again police don't have a suspect or a motive at this hour. they

in the surgical arena, for example, ross medical center in chicago, they are sending patients with nonsteroidals and it's working very well. >> richard, what happened? so many other people who find themselves caught in the throes of these crisises are not thought of as drug addicts. tell us your story. >> you know, i got addicted many years ago and it stems from the same situation. i was a football player, knee operation, given percocet. i think where we have the wrong dialogue, we can talk forever about, you know, how we get here but we're already there. and today when president trump goes and says that he's going to do what he's going to do, which is going to mean absolutely nothing because we will never beat -- we will never touch this opioid epidemic by treating opium addicts with opioids. so if the major treatment in this country for the millions and millions of addicts are two things, methadone and seb box sin and an opioid aganist create a positive awareness. you think about that. it immediately takes them -- they don't have to have any more physical pain or any more emotional pain. now, who wouldn't want to wake up every morn
