let's turn to our washington correspondent, richard walker. richard, we hear these prisoners who were specifically affected by these false positives are going to be informed. how many of them are there, and how are they going to react? richard: there could be a huge number. we are hearing the fbi has identified at least 2500 cases that it thinks merit some form of review. the few hundred we have just heard about, which have already been subjected to review, that is just the start. it should be pointed out that, in many of these cases, there may have been other evidence that was used for a conviction. but many defendants, many other lawyers will be looking at this as more than enough grounds to go to appeal, especially in cases where there evidence was crucial -- where hair evidence was crucial to conviction. we can expect to see a wave of appeals over the next few years. it is too late for those people who have already been executed. matt: i don't think i need to remind anyone who has been watching the news with any degree of frequency this yea

the only candidates were walker, ben carson, who has had some stumbles and marco rubio. richardat do you make of that? that's the only three viewed are more favorable than unfavorable. >> this fox poll was a bit of an outlyer. there was a cnn and one in "washington post." hillary clinton was virtually running head to head with every candidate, and her favorable was like 50-39 in the last one of they see those. i would be a little nervous on scott walker for this reason. he's number one and 50% of the people in the fox poll said they either ner heardver heard of him or have no opinion of him. what does that say about the republican electorate if they're basically putting ahead someone they don't know who he is. i would put hillary clinton as one of the most watched women in the world. her husband has had the highest marks ever. in averages, she's up 8, 9, 9 against those with an extension. i would votesay people would vote for her today. >> when there is not a primary there is not an opportunity to get better. now, she has been a candidate before, but she's been out of the game f

he's the backup choice if jeb bush fails and if richard gets his way and we get rid of jeb bush and scott walker turns out not to be ready for primetime, i think the republican establishment could flow toward rubio because they're comfortable with him and he also can get along with the tea party. >> professor, who is -- what is marco rubio's base outside the billionaires that are beginning to have to fund his candidacy? >> well, in terms of the public he used to be a tea party darling up until the moment that he, you know put through the immigration reform on the senate side, but then died in the house. so he has been disenfranchised a bit from the tea party. he has his toe in the moderate side. i don't think he's enough of either to get the support that he needs for this candidacy. i think it's important to note that while he may be inexperienced as a first-term senator, his foreign policy experience is actually the most that the republican side has at this point. and i would agree with bob that this is not going to be a campaign based on experience and it's going to be framed in terms of domes
