as as richard said, tomorrow's my last day as secretary of state and the wood is hard to predict what any day in this job will bring i know that tomorrow my heart will be very full. serving with the men and women of the state department and usaid has been a singular honor. and secretary kerry will find there is no more extraordinary group of people working anywhere in the world. so these last days have been bittersweet for me, but this opportunity that i have here before you gives me some time to reflect on the distance traveled and to take stock of what we have done and what is left to do. i think it's important as richard alluded in his opening comments, what we faced in january of 2009. two wars come to an economy in, traditional alliances fraying, are diplomatic standing damaged, and around the world people questioning america's commitments to core values and their ability to maintain our global leadership. that was my inbox on day one as your secretary of state. today conclave the world remains a dangerous and complicated place and of course we still face many difficult challenge
