richard says that when he found was empty. the biggest horror happened when they were finally out. >> people were falling from the sky. a couple holding hands. and these sounds that i was hearing were peoples bodies hitting the ground. >> reporter: corey remembers the streets at a standstill. he thought of his wife, worried at home. the pay phones weren't working. he stopped a woman with a blackberry and asked to send this message. >> i said hey, it is me come a corey, i am okay. i am out. i will talk to from the hotel tonight. >> reporter: is richard waited for his phone call, tower one collapsed. >> i thought to myself, oh my god. is going to fall. and so did i. i fell in some woman's lap. poor becky doesn't remember how he got to his home near the city. corey said it took him more than 4 days by pleasant plain to get home to lodi. he had these two photos with him, but 2 days after the attack. >> there's even scratches on the original because they were shuffled around when i had them on the bus going back from new york. >> r
