as richelle carey tells us, there's help for victims who want to take back their lives. fear and shame no longer consume them, but they're not comfortable showing their face on cam. they're victims of domestic abuse, who say that their husband slowly chipped away at their self-esteem until it was virtually gone, and now they're telling their story. gabriella came as a student. and fell in love with an ivy league educated man and got feared, but their relationship took a dangerous turn. >> take me back to when you knew something was wrong. >> several things, he gave me several lessons on how to squeeze the toothpaste out of the tube. at one point, i had to go back to the bathroom and close the door, because he was yelling and screaming at me that something was wrong, and he kicked in the bathroom door and i was afraid for my life. >> what happened when you started pushing back against the abuse. >> he let me know that he would call the irs, i have networking, i have cia contacts and this and that, and he threatened me, though i have everything legal, but he threatened me,

richelle carey spoke to mikey kay a retired officer. he said unifying the forces is the key. >> i don't think we should, but there are problems when it comes to coordination. i'll stay away from the political. my few is military activity needs to be fused, and they are absent across the region. if you look at iraq you have the peshawar, the yazidi, the iraqi army, and a host of forces. the u.s., brits, dutch and all of this requires coordination, all of this is ineffective unless you have coordination. it requires ground forces to be on the same frequency. >> you are talking a lot about what happens on the ground as opposed to air strikes we heard so much about. do you think it's necessary for the united states to put boots on the ground to make this work? >> i don't think the u.s. should be looking at that. >> what i think we need to do is we need to harness forces there already. what we need to do is when we talk about arming rebels, whether it be in syria, the free syrian army,... >> the moderate rebels. >> yes. when it comes to the

. >> my colleague richelle carey, asked what could have led to this latest infection in texas. >> i don'tw that anything went wrong so much as that there's so much activity in west africa, there's a lot of traffic, people coming to the united states, from west africa. and it was just bound to happen given amount of ebola that's going on over there. it's not surprising to see it here. >> what are the most common mistakes that happen in the process to prevent ebola from spreading to health care workers? where does it usually go wrong? >> well, there's a million details and i have confidence in what the cdc is telling us about how to prevent it. its mode of transmission et cetera. but the personal protective equipment and all the details of providing care to very sick people requires if you have it almost perfect at every juncture. that's why we've talked about earlier having spotters, having very short shifts where people don't become fatigued, where they don't become mentally fatigued, is really critical because there are lots of junctures in taking care of these very seriously ill patient
