at 81 downtown baltimore. 78 in richmond. seeing the showers that are riding along the frontal boundary bring rain cooled air with t as we continue to see the showers riding along the front. so right now there are some strong storms flanking richmond. north and east. norfolk heavy thunderstorm activity. and south of maryland. thunderstorms in the mouth of the chesapeake. and closer look here, we can see on the hd radar how we are cloudy skies north of baltimore. and activity, light activity. back over western portions of the mountains of virginia, and then west virginia. but we have this activity here that we will watch that continues to make a track potentially in our direction. and see it wraparound. this is an area of low pressure that has the counter-clockwise rotation. so the potential to go maybe late overnight showers is still there. as wes head through the late overnight. probably up to 2:00. into tomorrow morning. so rush hour could have a few pop-up showers in it. so plan accordingly. you see on the time line here.
