richmond says it's time to tax the refinery. why critics say the plan we've got 3 fires. we are keeping an eye. on that could impact air. quality. around northern california the fire in sonoma county, the sites fire in colusa county and the arrow fire in calvary's county, an update now on sonoma county's fire more than 1200 acres have been burned, but firefighters have made major progress over the last few days. it's now 50% contained now further up north and colusa county fire crews are battling the sites fire a more than 15,000. acre fire. this is just northeast of clear lake that makes this the largest fast growing fire in northern california, cal fire says low humidity and winds are posing a challenge controlling the fire. the fire is just 5% contained. and just south of there in calibers county, the arrow fire has exploded to more than 5400. acres and is 33. contained cal fire said that 1 firefighter suffered minor injuries while battling the flames. road closures and evacuation orders for people in the vicinity are still in effect. stay up to date, with the fires burning around the state on our website kpx.com and the free cbs news app. that changed. to oakland, where mayor

county medical examiner's office is working to determine the official cause of death. >> a former music director at a bay area church has been arrested accused of sexually abusing a member. richmond police arrested 37 year old miguel angel villalobos. he was a volunteer staff member at saint cornelius catholic church. police say a woman contacted the department, saying villalobos abused her when she was a minor and that the abuse continued for several years. investigators say villalobos worked at several churches in the bay area, including saint clement catholic church in hayward and queen of all saints in concord. >> the u.s. navy is in a legal fight with an environmental group involving the cleanup of radioactive material at the hunters point naval shipyard in san francisco. the group green action for health and environmental justice sued the navy in preparation for its planned redevelopment at the shipyard. right now, the navy is responsible for cleaning up the site. today's lawsuit also names the epa, which oversees that effort. green action claims the navy has missed key deadlines for reviewing its work plans. the same lawsuit says the epa has also failed to enforce its clea
