( mark ) this morning firefighters are still struggling to get a handle on the detwiler fire burning in mariposa county near yosemite and more homes were destroyed overnight. moments ago cal fire said the wildfire grew to more than 74-thousand acres and the fire is just 15 percent contained. another eight homes were destroyed overnight bringing the total to 58 houses. another 11 homes have been damaged. 15-hundred homes are still in the path of that fire this morning. the fire broke out on sunday and now thousands of firefighters are trying to get it under control.

( lydia )the new crime reporting system is replacing the past practice of emailing a police log of the crimes that happened at bart stations. the chief says more people have access to the information now that it is online, even though the website does not provide as much detail as to what happened. also, when it comes to releasing video of crimes on bart cars the chief tells us that will be on a case by case basis.police chief carlos rojas says while people have a right to know about crimes on bart they don't want to jeopardize any investigations.we talked to one person who said the more information made public the better but another bart rider agrees that withholding some information is okay.
