david: we welcome rick reader -- rick rieder, good to have you.ell as he was talking, but do investors react? did it change your investment outlook, particularly when it comes to fixed income? rick: a little bit. one of the things that is changing. we have lived in this world where the central banks were everything. it's every word, every piece of information that came from the central banks with everything that you had to focus on for investors. that is changing. the world is moving more for monetary to fiscal policy. while the says important things, but since he started talking, the equity market has gone down almost 3% on tuesday after being up for a couple of days. the markets are still tuned in. i think you did a superb job, but he made a couple of comments about being more confident on growth, meaning you could move your. up another notch -- your dot up another notch. is in the process of shifting from monetary to fiscal, he did address some of fiscal and say we are not necessarily on a sustainable path. in whatmore interested is happening w

this one, if he is looking at rick gates and rick gates had connections with russian intel officials, where is that leading us? >> that is the question at the heart of this investigation. were there contacts, collusion, conspiracy between the trump campaign and the russian government. here we now learn from these filings that paul manafort's business associate also worked for russian intense. we know rick gates was in touch with this person khruduring the campaign, what they said, whether they agreed to coordinate in any way, we don't know. stepping back, the gates/manafort team, which was running the campaign for a while and gates stayed on after manafort was fired, were in touch with someone from russian intelligence during the campaign. sounds like a pretty big deal to me. >> folks were lying about it. you brought up the three cs, contacts, collusion, and conspiracy. one of the fascinating things is this word collusion, which doesn't mean anything legally really here. i mean, it's -- you know, there is this investigation going on right now. and they feel like they have proven there

rick saccone was never able to do that. one thing we can take away from this race, no matter which way this nail-biting contest ends up is that conor lamb has given democrats a blueprint for potentially winning back the house. he took the enthusiasm of the democrats in this room, the resistance movement across the country that helped him fund-raise and funded all those ads he was able to put on tv, but he stayed true to the swing voters in this district. and i spent yesterday talking to a couple, dan and elkie miller, and he was a coal miner for 30-plus years, he's a registered democrat. they have been very active in the steelworkers union for all of those years, and they vote, you know, a lot of times the way the union votes, and they voted for trump in 2016 but they're voting for conor lamb this time around. and that's the kind of voter that, you know, it doesn't make sense for conor lamb to go out there and say, i think the president is wrong on everything. he needs to try and not necessarily offend those voters while at
