rick barry's son came to the bay area... canyon barry. listen to what he had to say. family has obviously a lot of ties to the warriors organization. so to be able to come out here, and try out for this team, and kinda show them what i can do has been a great experience. i see his pictures hanging up all over the practice gym and to come to a spot where he made a name for himself has just been great. i think it would be a perfect fit. and obviously to be able to play where my dad and brothers played would just be an added bonus... and kinda bring back the underhand free throw to golden state it's been 40- something years, but it would be fun to have the underhanded free throw back in the bay area.">(mark) it would be so cool to see him on the warriors. imagine going into the warriors practice facility and seeing your dad up on the walls. gary says growing up in the bay area, guys his age.. their hero was rick barry. he says he had a show on knbr so gary got to know rick. he says he has five sons, and all of them earned college basketball scholarships. it's amazing how
