joining me rick edelmen. how are you? good to see you. >> you too. thanks for having me on. cheryl: it's been a while. if you look at history and what it shows us it is very rare for a bull market to make it into year six. what do you think this bull market is telling us right now? >> that we're going to go into year six. i'm very comfortable with where the stock market is relative to the economy. we're very comfortable with the economic growth and development occurring. we're not worrying that the aging bull market is too old. cheryl: i was looking at some of my favorite bull markets. i was feeling historic and crunching numbers. two favorite bull markets, from 1987 to 2000. if you look at days, calendar days, that was one of the biggest, 44494 calendar days. really good time between 2002 and 2007. 1904 days. we're already at 1822. does that change your mind at all about how long we can go this year? >> no, it really doesn't. for the simple reason the bull market is not known by the bull market itself. in other words the stock market isn't paying attention to those calendar
