rick lucas, he's a rapid response registered nurse at ohio state wechsler medical center, and she's atnt federation of professionals. everyone knows nurses are who you have the most contact with when you're in the hospital. you do the yeoman's work, you're there every day. in vermont, do you and other health care workers have what you need to protect yourselves as you treat the infected? >> i would say at this moment we do, but that is rapidly changing. we're already at the point where we're starting to ration our ppe, meaning we're using one mask a day and we're putting it in a paper bag when we come out of the patient's rooms, and that's not something that's sustainable for the future. >> rick, one of the things you spoke about, which was so striking to me is that you see nurses wearing trash bags as isolation gowns, and we saw similarly and miguel marquez was reporting out of brooklyn that some of the workers are buying their uniforms at home depot on their way to work. when might that change in this crisis? >> we are terrified. we are rationing and reusing ppe as well here in ohio.
