it happened at 4:00 again southbound 680 just before stone ridge drive. is investigating what happened. they don't have all the details yet but they know the person that died is a male victim and investigators believe he just wondered on to the highway. we don't know if that man was impaired or under the influence. that is all part of the investigation that is under way right now. it happened at 4:00 this morning. driver involved is cooperating with investigators. there is a tow truck parked right in front of that vehicle that has been here since the last half hour or so. that car will likely be towed away as evidence in this fatal accident investigation. but in the meantime the backup was stretching from stone ridge drive almost to al costa. we talked to a lot of drivers that were stuck out here for the last hour and 20 minutes including a flight attendant at san jose airport who had to call their airline. >> and this is my last flight. i'm retiring. so yes this is very surprising. no, this doesn't happen every day. i'm just happy i'm not the one involve
