we just learned that the store manager rikki olds, 25 years old, was killed. is one of the victims killed yesterday. did you know her? >> rikki was a member of local 7. she had worked in another store and had transferred over to this store in boulder and transferred over to the nonunion side of the store. she was a member of the union at one time. we knew her. she worked in the deli and meat side of the storsz. very nice, very friendly, very caring. she was always happy. just a really great person and this is a horrible day for all of our members and for all of the king soopers workers. for our community, for everybody that was a victim of this senseless act. >> 25 years old. how long do you know -- how long has she been working with the company? >> i believe she started at king soopers, i want to say maybe -- i know she transferred around 2018. but she had been with the company for, i think over five years. she had been with the company for a while. >> do you know if any of the other victims were employees? we just learned their names. >> i understand that the

this is rikki olds. she was the front-end manager at king soopers grocery store and was at work yesterday when the shooting began. friends call her a strong, vivacious woman. after the shooting her friends tried to reach her. they were finally notedified at 3:00 a.m. of her death. her uncle called her a shining light in this dark world. rikki olds was 25-year-olds. denny strong also worked at king soopers grocery store. according to "the new york times," people knew him told the "times" he was one of the kindest people around. denny strong was 20. tralona bartkowiak was called "lona" by her friends, and she had many of them. according to the denver post, she owned a clothing and accessory shop in boulder. her brother told "the new york times" she had simply stopped by the supermarket to pick up her subscription when she was shot. officer eric talley was the first officer to run into the store knowing well the danger he faced. he arrived on scene just minutes after the first reports of shots fired. it was

i switched over because we've been talking to the family of rikki olds, a 25-year-old, the front end store manager there was just doing her job, effervescent, charismatic, loved what she did, wanted to be a nurse, but settled to be a store manager because she loved helping people. one of her friends, carly lowe, actually worked with rikki, and she's standing right next to me. carly, thank you for this. i have to start with the fact that you were working with rikki, you were working at that store. you were there the day of the shooting. can you tell me what your schedule was and how close you were to that? >> yeah, i was scheduled that morning from 7:00 until, i believe, noon. and it's just really scary that that's a place that you work at every single day. >> reporter: and just by the grace of whatever, you left early and were out of there. >> yeah, we didn't have orders for my department, so i went ahead and went home. >> reporter: tell me about rikki. how well did you know her, what kind of person was she? >> i actually met rikki's uncle bob first, and then small world, i found out
