channel 13's roger riley is giving us the dash camera perspective... in now to our other top story... an overnight shooting in des moines. police say one person was shot... after already being the target of another crime. it all started in the 29 hundred block of cottage grove avenue... in the drake neighborhood. police say at least one suspect invaded a home there... around 11 p -m. the homeowner chased them out and down the street... before the victim was taken to the hospital. no word on any suspects in the case. the incident prompted a drake bulldog alert. that's when drake sends out alerts to students living nearby. des moines police are following up on some leads in a deadly downtown shooting. this occurred just after one yesterday morning... at court avenue and 3rd street. officers arrived to find 21 year old edmund perez with a gunshot wound... he later died at the hospital. 23 year old andrew hurley-boyd was also shot... and is still being treated. police haven't identified a suspect... but say they have a lot of information from witnesses...

channel 13's roger riley is giving us the dash camera perspective... in webster city. he joins us live now to our other top story... an overnight shooting in des moines. police say one person was shot... after already being the target of another crime. it all started in the 29 hundred block of cottage grove avenue... in the drake neighborhood. police say at least one suspect invaded a home there... around 11 p -m. the homeowner chased them out and down the street... before being shot. the victim was taken to the hospital. no word on any case. the incident prompted a drake bulldog alert. that's when drake sends out alerts to students living nearby. police are investigating a deadly shooting in downtown des moines... this occurred just after one yesterday morning... at court avenue and 3rd street. officers arrived to find 21 year old edmund perez with a gunshot wound... he later died at the hospital. 23 year old andrew hurley-boyd was also shot... and is still being treated. police haven't identified a suspect... but say they have a lot of information from witnesses... i
