every morning at rita (nats... kibble) and pattering paws of a stewart came home to find bianca gone. (nats... locking gate) "i didn't know where she was. she had never been out in the snow. it was a cold blistery night. i didn't sleep, every time the wind would blow, i would just hope she was tucked in somewhere." "rita says whoever took bianca, walked up to her home, opened her unlocked door, and then walked in univited. she says they could have taken anything else, but bianca is irreplacable." "to see her not be there, it was awful." rita also works at the nearby elementary school -- and says dogs like hawkeye and bianca help students. "it's a wonderful resource. not just the language skills too, but in the large group situations as well, i know the dog helps keep him calm as well." when special education teacher -- sherry petty -- learned someone took "oh, very sad and shocked. according to rita -- bianca had a thyroid disease and needs daily medication. when she was found -- the slightly overweight golden retriever seemed to be shaken -- but was o-k. right now -- she is being che
