we have heard of a fourth fire, called the tyler fire which is in riverside county. middle of the night, or early morning now, as the sun comes up. many people have evacuation centres or have gone to friends and family. they have been told to leave their homes. 11100 firefighters are there at the moment and they are having to get reinforcements in from other states in the us as well. it is so exhausting for them and the demands on them are so great. cbs reporter, jonathan vigliotti is at the scene. he says firefighters are trying their best to stop the fire from spreading. that is proving to be incredibly difficult. here in the pacific palisades in a neighbourhood that is a total loss. you've got a home here. i'm going to flip over here. another home lost when we go over this way. homes down this street gone. this one completely levelled. the firefighters here, they're not trying to save these structures. they're trying to prevent these flames from jumping to other neighbourhoods. you see all these embers. in some cases, they're being carried more than a mile in adva

we're watching winds pick up and the area of riverside county, orange county and san diego county. it is important that everyone is prepared. >> i'm taking a look from the sky over los angeles county. thousands again, thousands of firefighters are working to put out the wind-driven flames and death toll up to 16 as we have said. but that is expected to go higher. cadaver dogs are being used to search some of the leveled neighborhoods. fires have burned more than 10,000 homes and other buildings since tuesday. the palisades fire stands again. 11% containment, the heat and fire 15%. the weather service again talking about strong santa ana winds and those could return. so let's go to kron 4 meteorologist scale long. she's here with the the winds. >> and a stronger push of those santa ana winds. >> for monday through the middle of the week, as you could see why red flag warnings are in place for ventura county and los angeles county until wednesday. so here are the conditions around the 2 major fires out to dina on the east air. the eaton fire, the pacific palisades over on the west th
