because paul laxalt was the chair of the rnc starting in 1983. so i like seeing some of this material that actually is the behind the scenes. how are we going to raise this money? how are we going to get our message out? which states are we going to focus on iowa? obviously is number one always at the start of these campaigns i've noticed. but i do get a kick out of seeing some of these speeches that kind of gives me an idea of what paul laxalt was thinking and you see a lot of his ideas weren't actually the ones that went out in the speeches. i've yet to see like a really really polished draft of any of these nominating speeches. they usually are as they are here in their rough form? i'd like people just to get a glimpse of how the political process in our country works. that's what i think the most important part of these political collections is and what i think you can gather from paul axel you can kind of get a feel for all of the committees he was involved in you do see the inner workings of them really trying to revitalize the republican p
