this is one from the rnli right after they saved a 14-year-old girl in the bay in the u.k. you can see them pulling her out on what looks like a stretcher. they had to use a hover craft called the hurly flyer to get her out of the quick sand. she was waist deep. apparently she was walking along the sands with friends and close to the shore and that is when she became trapped. the rnli came in for the rescue. we are seeing post rescue as they are taking her to safety. another video shows us how quick can cause serious problems, why it is called quick sand. watch this. this video back in april shows people on horse back riding along shallow watthis. suddenly you see one of the people on one of the horses really start sinking and going down really fast. you have to act quick in rescues like these. here it is again slow motion, the person on the horse starting to head back to the shore and all of a sudden really start going down and going down fast. >> whenever i think of quick sand, i think of somewhere in the jungle. i never thought right there on the ocean or right there on

the rnli called in this cool looking vehicle. i don't know what you call that.looks like a tractor that they take out there. it's able to just motor right through this water. pretty cool, right? they get out there. there's some people pushing but they also have a strap connected to the white car from a tractor. they start towing this thing out but they don't tow it the whole way to shore. eventually they get to the point where the car is able to kind of just go on its own. i guess to shallow waters where the car is able to then drive around and come back up the same ramp that the tractor thing went down. must be an exciting job. something new every day. how are we going to tackle this one? >>> somewhere in a field in brazil, a homemade eticket ride is about to happen so keep your head, your hands and your feet inside the tire. >> at least they were smart enough to put helmets on. >> they put on helmets and not much else and down the hill they go. >> i'd already be puking right there. oh, boy. >> as you can see, the tire is out of control. nobody is stopping it.
