its roads and in tennessee here is what we do with roads. we pay for them as we go. in other words in the 1980s we had three big road programs and we said we will borrow money? know we will raise the gas tax in charge to people who use the roads to build the roads in every single republican in the legislature voted for that because it was a conservative pay-as-you-go policy so we have zero road.. we have $900 million we collect every year in gas taxes. it's one of the lower gas taxes in the country but it all goes to build roads in zero but goes for interest on the debt. if you go to new jersey for example they spend $900 million on principle and interest and we are spending it on resume of the best roads in the country. i think it's ridiculous for us to have, to be borrowing money in the federal government that is so heavily indebted to build roads in national parks. we shouldn't be doing now. we should be having user fees of some kind to build roads it seems to me. and if you want to get at the maintenance, if the maintenance, deferred maintenance is $11 billion in

a crash is on the inner loop at old court road. it's a active scene. two inner loop lanes blocked and i am told a tow truck has just arrived. so, no word of injuries but it's something to watch out for. if you are traveling up to 83, you will want to expect minor delays as the morning rush picks up. these could get worse. traveling on the beltway in parkville, much better story. 55 miles per hour on the outer loop at harford road. no problems getting up to towson. on 83 a crash has been cleared to the southbound shoulder at the beltway and not causing significant delays. 55 miles per hour. so an easy ride heading downtown. it will take 11 minutes to get from the beltway downtown to east fayette street. 95 moving along here at 395. you are looking at an 8 minute ride typical drive time traveling southbound from the harbor tunnel throughway down to the fort mchenry tunnel toll plaza. that's your timesaver traffic. >>> we hear it when the temperatures rise. drink plenty of water. it's important but it's not going to be easy for people in a large section o
