rob, how are the conditions right now at ocean beach? >> well, we've been watching those temperatures during the day and also the sign behind advising rip currents being a possibility on ocean beach. on days like this, warm temperatures around midday climb noog the 70s out there with mostly sunny skies, generally good visibility, the wave heights 6 to 10 feet and water temperatures in the low 50s. those are rough conditions, sometimes larger waves coming in, could easily get knocked down by sneaker waves at times. we're seeing wave heights holding steady 6 to 10 feet and during the day tomorrow we probably won't have issues with fog along the coast as the winds turn strongly offshore during the day tomorrow. so again, the ocean temperature is in the low 50s, but our daytime temperatures as early as noon tomorrow drawing more people out to the coast, 80 degrees as early as midday tomorrow. we'll talk more about some near records on the way for your sunday forecast coming up in a few minutes. >> rob, thanks very much. >>> breaking news in

let's check in with meteorologist rob mayeda to see what's in store tonight and also tomorrow, rob. >> speaking of tomorrow, giants already put out the tarps on the infield. 61 degrees. more rain falling around at&t park where they did see a half-hour delay today due to the rain and you can see some of the rain totals we've had around the bay area pretty impressive when you consider the time of year. most places picking up about a half inch of rain but a higher totals out toward the east bay. look at brentwood, three quarters inch of rain plus. livermore, inch of rain. san jose, half inch of rain. very interesting, the santa cruz mountains seeing the least amount of rain. this is the typical pattern where winds come off the ocean. instead what we're seeing is winds coming out of the east forcing that air to rise over those inland hilltops. we're seeing our highest rain totals of this storm right there around the tri-valley. more rain around dublin, livermore right now. the rain moving from east to west will go from north to south as an area of high pressure tracks by to our south head
