he is rob bartonstein. rob, welcome to the show. thanks for joining us tonight. >> thank you, bill. good to be with you. >> i'm very anxious to get to your third pick. let's take these things in order. you like amazon, even though it's at all-time highs and people are thinking it just can't keep the growth rate going that it's had recently. you disagree, i guess. >> yeah, i would strongly disagree that it can't keep the growth rate that it's at. if you look at the last five years as the roadmap, amazon's been able to develop its cloud computing business very significantly. obviously the prime membership and prime businesses which include their prime video, which is movies and television and other content, as well as music. their last mile delivery service and their distribution centers. amazon is firing on all cylinders. at this stage of the game, it's kind of hard to tell in some places where the internet ends and amazon begins. >> and a lot of people are buying it because of the cloud business as well, right? >> correct. yeah, amazon web services is a big component and a big drive

ceo of private wealth services rob bartonstein gets calls from high net worth clients, right?ish-lists. what are they saying to you? >> hi, liz, good to be with you. clients are talking about the relatively low other absolutely low level of volatility in the market, what does that mean? they have questions about that. they have questions about the breadth. is there any sector they need to be invested in and volume and how does the sector fit into their financial plans. it's a broad-based group. liz: you have requests from them to be in amazon and power semiconductor. >> right. liz: also the vix. what are you trying to talk them out of on this list? >> i think if we're going to try to talk anybody out of anything it is the vix. that is the lady from the commercial. that is not how any of this works. the vix has been packaged in a way either via etn or etf that allows investors to take advantage of owning that index but when you go back and look at the actual returns from either the etns, which are unsecured debt obligation of the issuer or the etf which can own the vix contract
