the one thing i keep leaning on, rob emanuel said the worst thing you can do is waste a crisis. the eyes of the world were put on west baltimore and there has been a lot of attention and focus and it is important that we lean on our federal state, and local folks to try to end some of these decades-old issues. at the end of the day the things we're talking about were not created overnight, but we have to ensure that we are putting the right plans in place to try to eradicate and forever change the trajectory. you know my hat is off to this community because at the end of the day they continue to fight. they do not allow anything to go unanswered. i try to hold everyone accountable to deliver a service and you know, know they are the type of committee that we need throughout the city of baltimore. in this area, too, we know that the statistics are significantly damning, especially some of the disparities are on health and employment and all the critical things. but i think there is also a lot of positive that we can try to build off of it's like the metro. not many communities ha
