rob mayeda is in with a look at the forecast. >> the forecast this morning a little chilly. we have misty skies around san francisco. mid-50s san francisco to oakland. there the view from at&t park, 56 degree was low clouds and as we watch the a's and giants later on this evening. just like right now the low clouds will be sticking around from the golden gate west during the day with 60s, san francisco and the coast mid-80s inland around san jose and maybe close to 90 around pleasanton today. we have a look at the seven-day forecast that's trending warmer and another surge of monsieur moisture coming our way. >> all right. in ten minutes we check back in thanks. we begin with good new resist for the plm of missing oregon woman angela hernandez. she has been found alive in monterey county. a couple walking on a excluded beach near big sur discovered her on the rocks conscious and breathing with badly injured shoulder. these are photos from the remote rescue. they believe she may have been stranded right there for the entire week. hernandez vanished a week ago as she was drivi

rob mayeda to tell you why. >> weather is better than detroit. to offense, anyway. today is a good example if you want fog, you got a sea breeze, you want 80s, we got all things covered. how about this commute right now? 580. that's a nasty commute. most of the week. as good as it ef looks right now. looking at the traffic, eastbound, westbound. usually an accident magnet. but today, clear. we got 81 degrees as you head out to livermore, a high of 87. not too bad. 90s will be on the way as we get back to the workweek. emeryville, mid 60s. mostly clear. low clouds will make a comeback and might see a little mist for tomorrow morning's commute. san francisco, 61 degrees. winds a little gusty at 23. high of 65. and san jose, mostly clear skies. that's nice looking weather. 75 degrees. northwest wind at 13. with mostly clear skies. onshore winds keeping our temperatures in check. no one really got too far into the 90s. only the higher hills around some of the east bay and south bay saw those numbers closer to 90, but that begins to change tomorrow as the sea breeze won'

let's bring in meteorologist rob mayeda, who has got more on the weather conditions. >> we've seen return of brief downpours into the region. also on the satellite, very imposing is a super typhoon off to the east. that is maria, winds sustained at 155 miles per hour. good news that that particular storm is going to stay away from thailand, instead impacting taiwan and eastern china, where it will have a huge impact there. as we zoom back down into the region there, northern thailand, we will see over the next 48 hours, we think, rainfall rates increasing as part of the typical summer monsoon-type pattern. a rainfall total of about a third of an inch of rain coming down within the next 24 hours. look at those tuesday totals. could be approaching close to an inch of rain. so unfortunately more runoff and the potential for some heavier rain as we approach the middle part of the week. back to you. >>> just into our newsroom, the aclu says the trump administration will miss tuesday's deadline to reunite young children with their parents after they were separated at the border. the group says

meteorologist rob mayeda breaks it all down for us. rob? >> right now we're still seeing winds generally out of the southwest, but in terms of smoke output, this looks a lot better than it did just an hour or two ago. winds have been pushing larger smoke plumes during the day generally off towards the east and keeping that fire moving uphill instead of downhill towards some of those homes. now, moving forward, some of these south bay and east bay hills we'll have to watch as temperatures rise through the middle part of the week. valleys, mid, maybe upper 90s, could be in reach as things begin to heat up, which unfortunately means drier conditions in our hillsides. we'll have to watch for enhanced fire danger and possibly some air quality issues as we move towards the middle part of the week. the timeline on the warm-up and just how hot the temperatures will get in our forecast, coming up ten minutes from now. >> we'll check in with you in a bit. rob, thank you. you can check the weather before heading out the door. download our free nbc bay
