we bring in meteorologist rob mayeda who has been tracking the conditions for us. just another gray, murky day ouout there. >> you just can't see mt. diablo to the east right now. bit of good news, heat no longer the issue as we go back to the work week but smoke continues to be the problem out of the major wildfires burning to the north, the denser smoke for the most part staying away from the bay area, but at times we see the smoke drifting in from the north. we'll get another run of that smoke coming in likely this evening into tomorrow morning. the air quality, the hazy skies you're looking at is moderate but again, good enough for a tomorrow through tuesday, we'll continue to see similar conditions if those hazy skies, technically not a spare the air day but if you've got asthma or any preexisting respiratory conditions smoke pollution is the key factor over the next few days. north bay and east bay likely to see the worst of the smoke pollution over the next 48 hours. temperatures though is a big drop. look at that, 90s still inland but even those numbers bay
