robert burton has more with the coach of the week. robert: defeating sherwood softball. to be the impossible. the unthinkable. the jaguars did it. it was for all the marbles. >> the girls were ready to take on the elite team and that is what we did. we came ready to play. we showed it on the field. robert: 8-4 win over sherwood. a softball power house. the fact it was the first title in school history made it sweeter. >> beginning of the season i said you know what? we are not going to call them sherwood. we call them the blue team. literally whatever it is, we didn't know, we did not hear that nam the season. went all the way through. when we had sherwood week, blue team week. we really took that approach. robert: it worked. the first time sherwood didn't finish as maryland 4a champion. >> they have to play the way we do. hit it and field it. we do the same. we play northwest softball we can compete with anybody in montgomery county. it showed. robert: as ever good coach knows you can't win without good kids. >> i can honestly say this group of girls is probably one of
