. >> robert craig soon found out what happened. a woman and a baby were crossing the philadelphia road bridge over the beltway around 4:00 sunday afternoon when baltimore county police say a pickup truck hit and killed a woman. witnesses say the baby appeared to be ok. police said the baby was taken to shock trauma for treatment. police shut down the road while investigating the accident. >> they had this one side of the street blocked off at the next light up here and there were not letting any traffic through. >> people who live and shop in the area were upset when they found out what happened. they say this is a dangerous intersection that many of them have to cross to get to the bus stop across the street. >> i think they need to do something else about the traffic lights and the cars. they were innocent bystanders. usually we have the right of way when going across the street. >> those who bought in the area said they will do whatever they have to to stay safe. >> i will be more careful when i cross the street. >> i will stay
