the levels were high and in violation of the ohio administrative code for failure superintendent robert hunt says notice contradicts what the epa told them in november. the water was tested at t.c. gurney elementary back in august and september. both times the epa did not find the overall levels to be too high but instead said some samples may be high because of ph levels. the ph issues was addressed, the water treatment equipment was upgraded and the district was informed in november the water was safe. we had a community member found the alert on their website and because it was contradictory to what we had been told. on the website there is a disclaimer at the bottom that essentially says this is not necessarily the recommended course of action by the epa. i'm not sure how that happened they're going through and addressing that but we followed all of there direction and taken the action they have provided us throughout this process. again what the epa has told them except is different from what they put on the website. he said they would not be going through this process if the alert was
