miller. thanks so much. i appreciate you. >> thanks. >>> in oklahoma the reserve deputy charged in the death of eric harris pleaded not guilty. 73-year-old robert bates entered the plea. he'll be able to go on a planned vacation to the bahamas. >> thomas good afternoon. this morning robert bates pleaded not guilty to a charge of second degree manslaughter. the judge set the next court hearing for july 2nd. before that the judge also agreed to let bates travel on a preplanned vacation nearly a month long, to the bahamas. that's not sitting well with the shoot family of the shooting victim. they said this sends apathy to the victim and family. bates attorney says this vacation was planned. april 7th bates was acting as backup on an undercover sting operation where he says he accidentally grabbed his gun instead of his taser. two deputies have been reassigned because they've received threats. questions remain about bates' training. the sheriff insists he was properly trained but looking for more paperwork. the attorney for the harris family says documents release sod far are incomplete and don't prove bates was trained on the gun used in the shoot
