robert. >> reporter: it has been another intense day of searching for 15-year-old lamar. the center -- that spread out in and around morgan hill. it is a search being conducted by the class kick foundation and designed to help the sheriff's department with its on going search that started after lamar was reported missing march 16 march 16th. now we are here live on the far and the far west end of palm avenue and earlier this afternoon the santa clara sheriff's department was here, the class tips volunteer have been marking any items of interest in the 2 to 20-mile radius and that happened this evening. the sheriff's department told me a class volunteer found an empty box labeled handcuffs as well two used condoms nearby. again at the end of palm avenue. the sheriff's department began searching the area to see if there was any other items of interest and they say they plan to collect the box and the condoms and have them sent to a crime lab. spokesman jose told me that this dead end is a place where they get a lot of calls often young people partying, under age drinking and other types of activity like that. they say regar

robert? >> reporter: here at the command post investigators say searchers found the missing girl's purse sunday but it has not cleared up some of the key questions. >>> the search around morgan hill ramped up today because of a gag filled with clothes belonging to the teen was found this sunday. investigators say why they know the bag belonged to sierra lamar -- >> no information through forensics or other trace evidence on the bag or clothes leading to a person of interest or a suspect. >> reporter: the search was launched after sheas disappeared friday and investigators say the bag doesn't provide any clues that she ran away. >> because nobody saw her leave the house, we don't know if those were the clothes she was wearing. >> reporter: investigators say a review of her text messages does not indicate she was a run away. the case has become a personal one. >> cases like this where it is -- it is a young person are -- they are difficult for the team because everybody can identify with themselves going through the same situation. >> we are hoping to get some leads to help, not only track down or to help lead us in the right direction, but establish it as a run away or abduct
