robert light hisor and u.s. treasury secretary steven chu who will meet with china's vice premier and on thursday u.s. commerce secretary told fox business that it remains unclear what china wanted will ross said we will find out very very shortly in the next couple. of weeks what we need is to correct the big imbalances not just the current trade deficit so that both sides are hopefully working together to try to find some sort of deal so last week president from delayed an additional attack tariff on chinese imports scheduled for october as kind of a sign of goodwill as the us doing anything else well the u.s. did delay that just last week and this week they announced that it will temporarily exempt $400.00 chinese products from tariffs that were previously imposed here some of those goods that will be affected including motorcycles rail car parts solar panels and some smaller merchandise parts like dog leashes and harnesses power tools and electrical tape also christmas lights on that list but last week china's ministry of finance and announced it would exempt 16 at u.s. product lines from tariffs including food for livestock this also included the the pork and the soybeans that the fa

tom: tim ross, thrilled to have you on. i know john roberts of the american supreme court.eme court historic extension of the judicial process of lords. do they have any real power or can they be circumvented by the commons and can they be circumvented by the house of lords? tim: they do have real power. historically it used to be the role of the house of lords to oversee this kind of thing but that got moved to the supreme court. the government will have to respect whatever the supreme court says. we will wait to see what that ruling says next week but it is quite possible that you could upsetother set -- another for johnson. tom: terrific news flows today. it is great to have ambassador gardner with a portfolio that extends over any of these things. begin with john bolton but forget about that. you are in london. how is jeremy corbyn? this is a different calculus. can labor be advantaged by all of this turmoil? i saw a snap poll done yesterday by the telegraph showing that the numbers have even down. he was trailing by about 10 points. boris johnson must be the luckiest p
