roberta gonzales is at the new levi's stadium in santa clara. > reporter: kenny, we are outside levi stadium in santa clara valley and you're right, it's certainly warmer in the south bay. we are outside the stadium that they broke ground on back in april of 2012. hope to have it opened up on july of 2014. and while it is warmer here, one thing people don't realize if you can tell by the flag it's certainly breezy to windy. as of 5:00 we took a look at some of the comparisons it was the stick and levi stadium. temperatures definitely warmer here. windier at candlestick but boy, the winds increased here ever since then. sky condition is clear. mobile weather now reporting the air temperature has now just dropped down to 69 degrees. the winds are about 6 to 7 miles per hour. but look at the peak gusts up to 22 miles per hour. so what i did is i called a couple of neighbors. i called the santa clara municipal golf course which is right over there. we are directly underneath mineta international airport's flight path. and i asked them about the winds

one in san jose we'll take your there with roberta gonzales coming up in a second. you this weekend. here's the difference. it's because of the onshore flow. the ocean upper 50s this time of year will happen every year for the next 100. what changes from day to day is how much of the ocean influence we drag in. the past few days we have had a lot. we have had a strong onshore flow. you see this swirl here same low pressure system we have been watching for a while beginning to move farther away from us. as it does, we get less of the onshore flow. that means less morning cloud cover. more sunshine, milder temperatures. but the onshore flow isn't completely going away. so you'll still get the morning clouds and temperatures even though they are climbing will not get back to normal. it will be pleasant but not warm or hot for this time of year. the big transition day we get less of the onshore flow and warmer weather sunday. we'll have fog in the morning near the bay and coast but afternoons will be milder and sunny and inland, forget about the cloud cover starting on

roberta gonzales is here with what you need to know for the rest of your weekend. roberta. >>> you're right. those clouds near the golden gate bridge typically are not seen there. those are clouds all associateed with a tropical moisture. we'll get more into that, but this is what you need to know to kick start your sunday. it is spare the air day where we will have ozone very close to the surface is pollution. it's trapped primarily in the eastern portion of our bay area. that's where you see a bit of a haze. so in addition to that, by the time we wrap up our sunday, we'll have a fire weather watch in effect for all of these yellow highlighted areas. now, that means that from sunday night all the way to tuesday evening, we have the chance of a fire sparking, and that's because we have thunderstorms in the forecast, at least right now 20 to 30% chance of a thunderstorm any particular time. it's all associated with the subtropical moisture slipping up from the south. we're going to pinpoint the areas that the biggest risk is involved. that's still coming up and later

thanks roberta gonzales. >> well an illegal trash dump turned up an interesting find. piles of debris from a burned out business in oakland ended up litters across a field all the way on the island in vallejo. christin ayers went to see where it started and wait until you see what she found there. >> reporter: one day, this mare island lot was vacant and trash free. the next. >> i thought that was just one big mess to clean. >> reporter: randy gallo who works nearby couldn't believe his eyes. construction trash. two dump trucks full. illegally dumped and abandoned on this private lot. the sheriff deputy said it was the biggest dump they have ever seen. workers say the trash heap stretched from here all the way back to the yellow poles and it was piled high all the way to the bashed wire fence. deputies septembered through the mess and found out the trash was from this drug and alcohol rehabilitation center. it is now bank owned and appeared to be burned down. deputies tracked down the sub contractor who was supposed to dispose of the debris. he could face charges. in a
