robin prepared me as well as anybody could be to testify. you stood up there in the courtroom, it was packed strangers, very few friends, mostly strangers and the enemy lined up starring at you waiting for you to screw up. the united states government, all of things, my enemy. the whole process of testifying really wears you down. i have a tendency and mike caught me on this to answer the question without thinking it through. that would have been a tragic legal mistake had a not disciplined myself to listen to the question and try to understand where the prosecutor was coming from with his questions. the second day into the two days i testified, during the break, i was feeling tired. so i ate a protein bar for energy so i could kind of power through the rest of the afternoon. at the same time i wrote a note to myself and a little sticky pad, stay focused, exclamation. i took it up to the stand before the judge reconvened and i saw i was still being surveyed in court. i saw special agent cane get up and walk over to the prosecutor's table and
