i'm natasha curry in for robin meade.ne flu for the next couple days, we really have our eye set on the storm. it's hurricane ida. looks like it's beginning to make landfall right around that nicaragua coast. it's not moving very fast at all. it's only drifting to the northwest at about seven miles per hour. it's a weak hurricane. 75-mile-per-hour sustained winds but enough to generate big swells across the coast. also, tremendous amounts of rainfall. watch the path of this thing as it basically hugs the coast of nicaragua in towards honduras. hopefully it rains itself out, but if it does emerge into the caribbean, it may begin to pick up steam over the weekend. then if it hits the yucatan peninsula and goes on through, it may end up in the gulf of mexico sometime next week. so the gulf coast, texas, all the way through louisiana, keep your eyes peeled on the storm over the next seven days. obviously, we have a lot of time to watch it. but 25 inches of rain, that's what we'll get across the coast of nicaragua. that is jus
