pretty curious about robotaxis in 2026. you know the day before earnings. you know i looked at this thing and i said listen you know it probably is okay here. you're looking at a 4 or 5, you know billion dollar enterprise value. if they are really serious about partnering with mobileye and others to do these ring fenced, you know, robotaxis, it's probably like a cheap entity. it probably could still get bought by a google or other sort of companies that actually divested some of their interest in robotaxi or autonomous vehicles over the last couple of years. so, you know, i one thing i do not like, the stock had that huge gap last quarter because they guided up for bookings for this year. and now they've kind of missed that. and the guidance seems kind of squishy. so that's not great credibility right there. >> you know. >> it's had. >> a good oversold bounce. but to me with this likely breakdown tomorrow it's in a void. we often see these oversold retests from these stocks. and in fact we think the same might happen with the broader market so that there is

here was guidance, which doesn't help uber out in this broader bull bear debate over the rise of robotaxis and whether it will threaten its business. on cnbc this morning, ceo dara khosrowshahi said that avs represent both uncertainty and a huge opportunity. uber's advantage, he said, is its experience with fleets at scale. and scott, that is going to be put to the test this year because waymo is expanding. we're expecting things from tesla as well. can uber be the fleet? will they do it alone? will they partner with others? there's indication of all of that. >> all right dave thank you. that's deirdre bosa. now to christina partsinevelos for those moves in nvidia and amd. and i guess when alphabet says they're going to spend as many billions as they're going to spend, you see nvidia shares doing what they're doing today. >> yes. and even yesterday when the news came out that $75 billion number you saw nvidia pop, amd didn't. why amd's data center numbers just weren't up to snuff. things looking bumpy ahead to amd telling us q1 revenues will drop 7% sequentially as data center clients and

it is clearly, bill ackman doesn't believe that it should be going down every time elon musk says robotaxi with uber, which is crazy, that they were considered to be that vulnerable in the near term. that said, 30 million shares or 30.3 million shares since early january. i went back and looked he's been like 5% of the volume in the stock since that point. presumably, he's now got a full position because he's now talking about it. so it's almost like the buying is good. it's a vote of confidence, but it doesn't necessarily mean from here on out, you know, it's going to have a lot of legs in terms of more incremental demand for the stock. but it is, you know, kind of interesting, by the way, in the dow transports. and one of the reasons that i think a lot of the dow transports have been hanging in there better than some other cyclical parts of the market. >> meta going to be 15 in a row today because it looks like it's going to go green. i mean finished green i should. >> say yes. >> and that's an all time high. >> you know. >> it was cheap enough. it was in the right spots. and now it's ju

years, started selling off last october based on worries about autonomous driving, specifically robotaxis. uber's all time high was set on october 11th, one day after tesla's big cyber cab event. that event was originally considered underwhelming. big on hype, short on details. so uber stock popped more than 10% the next day. but that was as high as it got. less than a month later, president trump won the election and given all the support he got from tesla ceo elon musk during the campaign, investors started taking the company's cyber cab ambitions much more seriously. look, i think that was the right call. but you know what? i vehemently disagree that it's bad for the whole rideshare industry. when uber reported its previous results at the end of october, the stock did get hit. even though this was a beat and raise quarter. investors nevertheless seized on an oh so slight miss for rideshare bookings and the stock sold off. so i was looking forward to this morning's report from uber, because i wanted to see if the company could set the set things straight. long story short, we got the so

i you know, we had this robotaxi roadkill overhang on on on uber. i think that's going to dissipate over the next 12 months. i think there's enormous move for a rerating, the multiple going up. that's how you make most money in these stocks. it's when you get the point where the multiple can go up and the estimates can go up, you get that dual trigger or whatever the, you know, wave for the double barreled approach to stock that stock upside. i also prefer google. this is this is a switch for me about three months ago. i just think there's so many overhangs on google now. whether it's regulatory, a lack of cost, discipline and all those may well be valid, but i think all of those are addressable. and if you get any one of you get 1 or 2 of those addressed, i think there's a fair amount of upside. the rerating that we saw with meta could actually happen to google. so i actually prefer google here to matt, it's the first time in about two years i've had that opinion. wow. you know, before i let you go, i want to hit on airbnb and roku, both of which y

take a look at tesla's shares, the fact that they go higher is that it's a trade based on elon musk robotaxiump administration. finally, i want to pivot just a bit, guys, and i want to talk about ford. rough day for ford shareholders as the company coming off of releasing the q4 results after the bell last night. look, they beat on the top and the bottom line. nobody cares about that. what they care about is the fact that their 2025 profit, it's going to be substantially smaller than what the analysts were expecting. and also compared to this year, this year, i think, or last year, they made 10.2 billion. they're expecting between 7 and $8.5 billion. so there's some pressure there on ford as the company navigates lower industry volumes. the fact that pricing is going to be under pressure here in the united states, just not a good setup right now for ford. >> bill, the new york times is pinning it or questioning whether it has to do with the fact that elon has been more vocal and more disruptive in the political scene there, particularly in germany and in the uk. is there any evidence of that
