this video from rockaway beach in pacifica tonight, this could be the roughest surf we've seen in the past two years. >>> paul, these are some pretty ominous warnings. >> if a wave is that high, it's going to go that much farther inland from where the water normally stops. so yes, on some beaches the waves are going to basically take away the beach temporarily once they come crashing in. so use extreme caution if you're going anywhere near the water coming up on sunday. now to the details, it's sunday morning through monday night, a high surf warning. this will be likely the highest surf since january, 2017, so almost two years. swells will run 17 to 21 feet. that's pretty high. breakers above that running 25 to 40 feet or higher. that's pretty high. so yes, it's the real deal at the beach coming up on sunday. not the real deal with this front. we got minimal rain from it and there's not much rain out there now, just a few very light showers over in napa county and sonoma county this evening. futurecast says there will be some showers over the north bay tomorrow morning. much of satur
