jerry jones has a couple of bones to pick with roger goodell. number 1, it's somewhat personal. goodell suspended ezekiel elliott, his star running back for six games. basically taking dallas out of playoff contention without their star running back. he's been suspended. jones was against that. goodell did it because of an alleged domestic violence incident. jones countered that hey, where was -- there were no real charges filed. why be that draconian? and jones didn't like that the nfl would pass a hard and fast rule to prevent the one-knee protest. there's no better business man than jerry jones. he know what's the typical nfl fan hates the fact that these players are taking one knee. jerry made that quite clear. that he thought goodell should be taking a harder line on this. the league hasn't done much other than to suggest that players should stand. they're also paying $100 million for certain clauses in the african american community right now. a lot of people that is a way of bribing players to stand during the anthem. jones is not crazy about that either. that's where you
