roger marshal who treated some of the injured is joining us now by phone as well. what can you tell us about the injuries and the situation with those whom you treated at the scene? >> i walked on to the scene. there was obviously a handful of in congress got on to the scene. three people were injured and looked like one person was walking away. first person was down. dr. winstrip were trying to secure the airway and assess those injuries. they were working on another person trying to dpet an airway there. so i jumped in and helped dr. row. couldn't find a pulse. so we started cpr. and worked on that person for several minutes. we just could never get him resuscitated, i'm afraid. we tried shocking him. could never get a good airway and at some point in time, we decided we needed to focus all of our attention on the other person who was at least had a pulse. >> dr. marshal, can you tell us what his fatal injuries were, what was your observation when you first saw this poor injured man? >> just major head trauma, internal trauma. it was too gruesome to even talk abo
