[ laughter ] >> does anyone have any questions for director roher now? let's move on, then, to president yoursel yee's sweet s. >> good evening, supervisors. i know you've had a long day. i only have two slides. i'm the director for the san francisco office of education and currently, what we're doing with some of the changes with the office of care and education has really to do with the pandemic. we fund over 350 sites across the city that are licensed to early care and education sites and since march, mid-march, most of the sites had to close because of the shelter-in-place. the majority are back online starting in july, but they are working under a very different guideline. and part of that has to do with the public health guidance that limits the number of children that are abl in preschool, infar toddler care and providers are having to do difficult things with balancing a strict budget because our system is really based on a child's reimbursement basis. when your classrooms are cut by 50% and you have the operating costs of a full classroom,
