romine: that's a trick question. when you have acquired biometrics data for whatever purpose any organization that has acquired such data, these are not assets in their control. sometimes, the pressure to use those assets in ways that work originally intended is pretty enormous. the idea that we could do this instead of thinking should we do this with those data. that is one of the reasons why we always have to stress the importance of context of use. in some cases, new context of use may be enormous the beneficial and perhaps not even controversial. in other cases, it could be extremely potentially damaging. this is the difference between cybersecurity and privacy in the sense that it does not have to take place for her missy -- privacy harms to occur. using biometrics data in ways that were not intended and perhaps violate the expectations of those who provided those data can create those privacy events. >> i completely agree. i want to ask a question about that to dr. ross. you were talking about privacy violation
