in some recent polling has ron barber up by double digits. could this be close?like it was going to be close this whole couple of months this campaign season. it's a swing district with just slightly more republican registered voters. so it looked like it was a really tight race. that poll was very interesting to see yesterday. but both sides, democrats and republicans, say it looks like the race is going to be a little bit tighter than that poll suggested. >> okay. so it's been on a smaller scale. certainly smaller than what we saw in wisconsin. but outside money has certainly played a role in this race. take a look at this. this is an ad from the pro democratic house majoritypac come under some scrutiny. how do you think independent voters in and around arizona are interpreting this, in a crucial district, reacting to these ads that have infiltrated during this campaign? >> well, certainly the democrats attack ads have largely focused on statements that jesse kelly made two years ago, particularly on medicare and social security. there's a lot of senior voters
