the prosecutors say the accused killer, ron haskell fainted, because it finally hit him that, quote,this is real and there are real consequences. his attorney says the evidence will show his client suffered from a mental illness. we're learning more about his violent past. last week his mother got a restraining order against him after a fight outside their home. he tied his mom to a chair, choked her until she passed out and then thenned to kill her for speaking to his ex-wife. court documents show police in utah arrested haskell in 2008 after his wife reported he had attacked her. she said then, quote, he dragged, threw me out of the room by may hair. i gave up and got in bed with the kids. he came in and dragged me out of bed, then hit me in the side of the head. court documents also showing haskell violated a restraining order from last year that his wife has filed against him by showing up at one of the children's school. she filed a divorce a few months later on valentine's day. now fast forward to wednesday this week. that's when investigators say the gunman forced his way into
