ron mott is in new hampshire with us. >> reporter: this was supposed to be a family friendly event. they had some problems last year but the folks who came here this year to disrupt the proceedings, they took it to another level. take a look at the street behind me. i'm not sure exactly what was burned here. i think it was a couch or mattress of some kind. you can see the street is littered with beer cans and this was a family friendly event. take a look at some of the pictures yesterday. this all started about 2:00 in the afternoon where police had to be call to break up some of these parties off the college campus here of keen state college where a lot of people decided to spend the afternoon drinking and toward the end of the evening, decided to head toward the pumpkin fest. police fired rubber bullets and tear gas into this crowd. dozens of people were hurt. no one admitted but there were a lot of cuts and bruises as you can imagine. there is one shot of young man where the police told him to go beyond a barricade and had to be taken down forcibly. we don't know the number of ar
