ronica with the very latest on primary day. ronica. hey, jim and sarah, well if they didn't know it was not because of a lack of effort on my part. you know, primary elections they notorious have low voter turnout. today's numbers and estimates that are coming into us they seem pretty standard for what we might expect. take a look at this footage from here in falls church. i was from about 3:00 this afternoon. you don't need any estimates to tell you that there's nobody there. it's been a slow trickle. one person here, one person there coming in and out of this polling location. if we look at some estimates from the area here in fairfax county as of 2 p.m. estimates of democrats voting, about 6 percent republicans, two and a half percent, alexandria as of 4 p.m. the estimates put democrats at 13 percent and republicans at just 3 percent. and then out of arlington they don't break it down by party, but the estimates as of 2 p.m. total. now, the voters who were here they were, you know, pretty willing to chat with us about seeing a turno
