this is happens at roosevelt hospital on the upper west side. eyewitness news reporter dray clark outside that hospital with the breaking details. dray. >>reporter: good morning, ken. within the last 10 minutes or so, the medical examiner arrived here on the scene because we know that man did not survive his fall. meanwhile, you can see behind vehicles here, but this scene is much smaller compared to what we saw when we initially arrived here about an hour and a half ago. this is all happening here on 59th street between 9th and 10th avenue. sometime just after 2:00 this morning police say a man jumped from a neighboring high rise building and landed on a pressure oxygen tank line outside roosevelt hospital. the line was severed, causing a leak, and that triggered a large-scale hazmat response. we're told the hospital did lose oxygen temporarily, but quickly transitioned to portable oxygen tanks to make sure those patients who needed it did receive it. meanwhile, a private vendor from new jersey has arrived here at the hospital and is now in the
