trying to cross roosevelt boulevard is a tough task we have heard stories, many of them become tragic as people make their way across here time and time again, this one is very latest on and deadly consequences, it started last night around 11:00 o'clock and has a woman in her 20's maybe 30's get hit so hard that her body slideness to the road, leaving her shoes behind where she was walking. the force so hard, the 2009 honda accord suffered major front end damage and victim had severe injuries to her face, neck, entire body. she was taken to einstein medical center where she later died. as for the driver of that accord, police say that person is cooperating in their invest igation. >> the driver remain on the scene, the driver's 22 years of age. the driver does not appear to be impaired. however, according to police investigating the scene this driver does not have a driver's license. >> reporter: that could cause some issues for that driver. as for the victim no id either , and traumatic injuries making it much harder for police to identify who that woman is. back out here live you c

roosevelt the name of two of our presidents but the boulevard was named for theodore or teddy roosevelt or td roosevelt as his family called him. northbound side of the roosevelt boulevard extension is backing up from just off the schuylkill up to broad street. that is just normal afternoon volume. on another chunk of route one, city avenue, right by us, by channel6, there's construction going on southbound side. one of the two lanes is closed at monument road so it is going to be slow as you come off the schuylkill expressway. and because of that huge fire in olde city yesterday, there's still restrictions in area along chestnut between second and third, those local streets blocked off in olde city. we've had two accidents already this afternoon along 422 westbound. right now we're looking at route 23 right by 422 and it appears they may be clearing out one of those accidents as we watch. bottom line is we can see from the travel time watch out for extra slowing on the westbound side of 422 coming out of king of prussia and plenty of slowing here. time for the commuter report. let's ch

details but investigators say that the fatal shooting happened at 1:00 along the 200 block of roosevelt boulevard inside of this home. it turned into a barricade situation and s.w.a.t. arrived on scene shortly thereafter. ta to surgery for at least one d gunshot wound. and back at the home the standoff lasted several hours, at 4:00 in the morning the s.w.a.t. unit packed up their things and left and animal control later arrived and we learn that the husband had taken his own life. and the investigators spent hours looking for evidence and they were looking for shell cases in the front yard across the street. and we saw an upstairs window in the couple's home with a bullet hole. neighbors say they were a quiet couple and moved in back in 2013. most of the residents seemed to have slept through it all. >> neighbors say the husband was a crossing guard at an elementary school less han a mile away. and not much is known about the wife or if the couple had children. >> and no officers were injured as far as the woman, the victim here, we are told she is in critical and stable condition after going int
